Speed Stacks is new to Galtier this year and so far it has been a huge hit! Take a look at some of the great pictures captured during our unit. We began with the 3 stack. We started very slowly, teaching our hands how to move. Then we started stacking for speed. We quickly moved on to the 3-3-3 stack. The world record holder, named Emily Fox, stacked the 3-3-3 in 2.43 seconds! Can you believe that?
Stacking 6 cups was a bit harder but we practiced and practiced to get our hands moving quickly before we turned on the timers! Most of our Galtier students can stack 6 cups in 3-4 seconds. We are still working to decrease out times!
6-6 was next. Stacking 6 cups then the next set of six cups. Don't forget when you downstack you have to move left to right!
The last step before moving on the elite move in cup stacking, the CYCLE, was the 1-10-1. WOW, that is hard! The cycle invloves stacking a 3-6-3, then a 6-6, then finish with a 1-10-1. The world record for the cycle is 7.43 seconds!!!
