May PE Units Beginning in May our 1st 2nd and 3rd graders will be spending plenty of time outdoors practicing their t-ball and kickball skills. We will learn about the rules of the game, and practice lots of skills including baserunning, throwing, catching, hitting and kicking. We will also talk about the strategy of the game. While our primary kids are hard at work on the ball field our 4th - 6th grade students will be learning tennis skills.  We will learn all about the four major tennis tournaments and the three surfaces upon which tennis is played. We will then spend a full week practicing our tennis skills, learning how to keep score, and talking about the strategy of the game. The second week we will join the younger kids out on the field playing softball and kickball.
