June track and field day 2004 The month of June brings Field Day! Students in 1st - 3rd grade will complete a rotation of stations spending about 15 minutes at each event. Each event will have one Galtier magnet teacher, and at least one other volunteer. Some of the events the primary students will be participating Join the 4-way tug of war at field day! in include; parachute, water tube relay, stilts race, drip drip splash, tug of war, blindfold race, tricycle race and an all ball relay! Our 4th - 6th grade students will have two parts to their field day. The first half will be active stations and the second half will be competitive field day event heats. The stations will be very similar to the primary field day and the competitive events will include; the shoe kick, jump rope for 60 seconds, 50 yard dash, vertical jump, 400 yard run, football punt, basketball shoot out, accuracy ball throw, and a hula hoop contest!
