Red Hot Reading
Our Red Hot Reading program is in its third year. Students have the opportunity to read with an adult at their instructional level 20 minutes a day everyday.

a student is at 90% accuracy with a book they then begin to bring books home to read with a parent or guardian. We have four teachers come into the kindergarten room and they have 3-5 students in their  | | Red Hot Reading |
group. The students love this time practicing and listening to books that they have chosen.
During this time I will take students who need a little extra help and we will work on a specific skill. Red  | | Red Hot Reading |
Hot Reading continues in first through second grade.
