Dear Students, Families and Community Members:

Thank you for your interest in Galtier Science, Technology, Mathematics, Magnet.  My name is Adrain Pendelton and I am honored to serve as principal. Prior to me becoming principal, I spent ten years as a teacher for St. Paul Schools, Early Childhood Family Education Program.  I 've earned both a Bachelor and Masters degree from the University of Minnesota and an Educational Specialist Degree from the University of St. Thomas.

I believe my purpose as educational leader is to promote student learning through teaching and instruction.   In order to accomplish this, leadership can not linear.  This way leadership is restricted to the designated leader alone.  Instead I believe leadership should

be interactive so that it is regenerated throughout and becomes available to all students, parents, staff and community members. Therefore,  I welcome and encourage you to become active participants in  your child's school programs and classroom activities. This partnership not only strengthens home and school relationship but is also a key element of student success at school.
