FUNDRAISING ONCE AGAIN!!!
Fundraising in the previous years for the art room has proven to be a huge success! With the proceeds from the Aunt Bonnie's cookie Dough Sales previous years, we had enough money to purchase a color printer, new digital camera (and kit), help pay for the John Acosta and Scott Cleland residency, and independently purchase materials for the art room.
We are currently selling cookie dough again for this year. The prices have gone up due to Aunt Bonnie's commitment to a healthier product. They have even introduced a fat free and sugar free cookie dough! There are also two new items on the list, pretzels and cinnamon rolls.
The sale ends October 26th! Be sure to order your cookie dough soon! If one of our students hasn't contacted you about cookie dough contact Sam Yelk at 293-8710 ext. 2019. Cookie dough can be picked up Nov. 6th between 3pm and 5pm.
Smencil sales are a continuing success as well! Smencils are scented pencils made from 100% recycled newspaper. Each one is sold for $1.25 and with that we have sold over 2000 smencils. Last year they introduced four new scents to the "bucket". Due to the huge success of the Smencils and other items being sold, we have created a school store. We have added several different styles of erasers, pencil holders, and sharpeners to the mix. Nothing over a dollar is being sold, other than Smencils. Smencils are a $1.25 each, erasers and pencil holders are a quarter, and the sharpeners and some erasers are fifty cents.
Hours for the school store are Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:45 am - 9:10 am and Noon - 12:30 pm.
