how to be a kindergartner. We learn new songs and have so much fun marching through the school having a Teddy Bear Parade. Showing off our bears to various staff and guests.

with your very own birthday crown a special card and a visit from our puppet " the birthday bird"

with a formal serenade to our birthday child "Happy Birthday to You" with a special bird twist.
All birthday celebrations are pretend and the students love this celebration.

year is the 100th day of school. We read many stories that day and work our way up to counting by 10's to 100.
The kindergarten students have practice counting out groups of 10 and we celebrate with a trail mix snack to enjoy at home.  | | Turning Six-- a visit from the birthday bird |
Each student brings in 100 of some small edible snack and we count them out by groups of 10 to make 100. Next we add it to our large bowl mix and stir and wow 100's day snack.
