This is my 4th year at Galtier.  I am currently the only ELL teacher at Galtier. I directly serve ELL students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grades.  I indirectly support ELL students in 1st, 5th and 6th Grades. My office is located in room 2240.  My direct phone number is 651-293-8710, extension 2240. Families are always welcome in school.  Just stop in at the office, oral language activity-reading letters to their classmates get a visitor's pass, and see what your child is learning .   ELL students receive instruction through Reader's and Writer's Workshop in their classrooms.  We strongly believe most children learn English better when they stay in their classroom with their peers.  Most ELL students are taught in small groups with both English and non-English speakers at the same reading level.
